What makes a movie bad, and what makes a review of a bad movie?
Not good news for Tom Cruise that “Mission” and “Impossible” both show up on the negative side
flitered?
I don't know if there's a formula to rate a movie, but there's a sure way to rate a review:
1. Start with 10 points (or 100, if you like precision);
2. Each time the reviewer compares the movie to another one, remove one point;
3. If you could never get to watch that other movie, remove two points;
4. If that other movie has been watched by no one on earth except a handful of bearded movie critics, remove 5 points.
Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaybe the handful of beardos have a point.
Such a strange argument. "If I'm unfamiliar with it, it's not for me"?
I dunno, man. There's a whole world of movies out there you or I haven't heard of. Can't hurt to explore a little.
